Took Jolene the Sunbird to get cleaned at my friend’s detail shop today. And did a quick driveway/backyard photo shoot.

She turned 30-years-old last month (built 6/1990) and has 58,600 miles today. No rust anywhere as she was never driven in the snow and rarely driven in the rain.

I don’t know why I care so much about an antiquated econobox, but I do. And y’all get that, which makes this group awesome .

My wife’s Sunbird had the same dash problems back in 2000. It’s like they were made from bubble gum or something.

This is the least warped one I’ve seen. I keep it garaged and I use a sunshade whenever it has to be outside to hopefully keep that issue at bay.

Yep. She idles a little low sometimes but that’s it.
